Hungary (1921-1945):
a unique childhood

Jóska Soós was born in 1921 in Hungary. He was raised by his grandparents, in Sólt, a little village at about 100 kilometres from Budapest. Here, he became an apprentice of a local practitioner, an old man named Tamas Bacsi. As his disciple, Jóska observed the shamanistic healing methods of his teacher, who initiated him into his traditional shamanistic knowledge. His extraordinary memories gave him a very special world view, which would determine him as an artist and a shaman.
